Claims PIC will not make

No guarantees

No misleading comparisons

Information must not mislead students about PIC, a course, another provider or nationally recognised status.

No unapproved logos

Nationally Recognised Training and other logos may be used only in accordance with their conditions of use.

No unsupported claims

Testimonials, rankings, employment claims and other promotional statements must be accurate and supportable.

Consumer protection

  • Students receive clear pre-enrolment information before committing to a course.
  • Marketing distinguishes nationally recognised training from non-recognised training.
  • PIC remains responsible for marketing conducted on its behalf.
  • Incorrect or outdated information is corrected or withdrawn when identified.
  • Students may use PIC’s Complaints and Appeals process if they believe information was misleading.

Approval and monitoring

Marketing material is developed from approved course and compliance information, checked before publication and reviewed regularly. PIC monitors websites, printed materials, advertisements, agents and other channels for accuracy and consistency.
