This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.
Individuals at this level display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements.
They may plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources.
Target Group
- Off-shore students, who have just passed Australian Year 12 or equivalent may have little or no vocational experience but possess learning skills and knowledge that they would utilise to develop Leadership and Management skills.
- Holders of Certificates/other qualifications in business, management, etc or/and may have previous experience in a related profession overseas/onshore and are interested in developing their leadership & management knowledge and skills. PIC will provide RPL/Credit for eligible students for specific units of this qualification on a case-to-case basis and then place the student in a suitable term, if available.

The study materials are provided to students by Paramount International College and are included in the total course fees.
Course Duration
This qualification will be delivered 14 hours face to face per week in the campus and 6 hours online per week. The total duration is 52 weeks. 40 weeks of tuition is spread over 5 terms. These include one 6- week term, three 10-week terms, and one 4-week term of training and assessment. 12 weeks of holidays are spread over 3 term breaks between the terms. There is no term break at the end of this course.
